Printed Book Jacket 

Objective 
Explore typography as image, while redesigning a book jacket using up to two type faces and 2 colours. No representational illustrations or photography can be used.

Execution 
Variation in tints of colour (gold) and size of font (Futura PT) provide unity and balance. Addition of simple circle and line elements provides contrast and visual interest to the design as well as hints at the storyline of one of the short stories featured in the book.
